Smoking Gun Recording is a full service recording studio and production facility located in Nashville, TN. It It was created by producer/engineer Jon King in an effort to offer professional quality recording without the sky-high price tag and stuffy high stress environment. Making great music is our goal bar none and we want to take your project to the next level.

Jon began his forray into the world of recording in 2001 when he opened the Blue Room Studio in western KY. While at the blue room, he produced several projects such as Augustana's Midwest Skies & Sleepless Mondays & Mayfield. After a 3 year stint in AZ, Jon relocated to Nashville to further his exposure to great artists. Since that time SGR has been a creative getaway for a number of records and projects, Including The Last Almanac's alt country venture a memoir, Stephanie Borowy's white EP and The October's upcoming Lost Since Graduation EP.
